2014

Official Purveyor to the Belgian Royal Court

 

His Majesty King Philippe has granted Buissonnière the title of Purveyor to the Court of Belgium.
A prestigious recognition that honours the enduring relationship between the royal family and our brand, drawn to our timeless style and accessible elegance.

2010

Launch of the E-Commerce Site

 

Buissonnière was one of the very first Belgian fashion brands to launch an online store.
Today, we deliver worldwide, with nearly 30% of our sales made online, across 45 countries.

2009

Passing the Torch

 

As they gradually joined the company, the second generation has now taken the reins of the fashion house.
With the founders’ four daughters at the helm, Buissonnière continues to evolve, staying true to its essence, strengthened by a thoughtful balance of heritage and modernity.

1995

Expanding the Collections

 

The family is growing!
Already a go-to for babies and children, Buissonnière gradually extended its collections, first to teens, then to adults in 1995.
A natural evolution, inspired by families growing alongside the brand.

1993

Expansion to Flanders

 

Buissonnière’s success transcends language borders.
Our first store in Flanders opens in Ghent, soon followed by another in Kortrijk.

1989

Opening of the First Store

 

From private sales among friends to fittings in the children’s playroom, Buissonnière takes a big step forward with the opening of its first store in Wavre.
As the community grows, two successive moves within the town follow, each one making room for more families to join the adventure.

1985

The Creation of Buissonnière

 

Buissonnière’s story begins in the most unexpected way.
Struggling to find beautiful clothes for her daughter, Myriam starts designing her own, and her creations quickly win over friends and family.
What began as a personal project soon turns into a shared adventure: she and her husband Christian decide to launch their own line of children’s clothing.
The name? Buissonnière, a poetic nod to nature, childhood, and carefree days.
Forty years and 81 collections later, the brand continues to dress all generations with the same sense of style, simplicity, and authenticity.
